Week 27

Ember got to go on her first camping trip. We went with the Hoffmans to Granite Falls.Ember was great sleeping a ton and being a happy girl. Judah loved being outside and having the river near by but he got very sick and we had to take him to a walk in clinic because he had so much junk coming out his eyes. He was a trooper though!

When we got back from camping Ember talked to Judah for the first time ever on July 1st and slept in her own bedroom. She did great

For 4th of July we did nothing. Joshua and I both caught Judah's cold so we went to bed early and played online rummy in bed. Officially old! However on Sunday we did go to a BBQ at the Fore's house and Judah had a blast in the pool.

Week 26

This week Judah had VBS with Calvery. He LOVED it. Came home every day completely wound up and wet!

We celebrated a late mothers day for my mom with a Mariners game.

                                     It is nice having others to hold and entertain our kids!

Ember is doing really great. She has tamed down her fussiness and sleeps through the night! She still doesn't do too much other then sleep and eat. This week I tried to get some housework done. Judah helped me weed and Ember distracted me from painting!

Week 25

This week we got a year Zoo and North West trek year membership as a gift and were very excited to use it. First we went to the Zoo.We got Judah a seed stick to feed the birds and one flapped up right in his face. He screamed and dropped it. Guess he wasn't ready.

 

 Judah was super thrifty in the goat area. I had no money to buy goat feed so he just picked up pebbles kids have dropped. How crazy does this goat look. Ember thought so too!

 

We went to Emerald Downs for our annual Fathers day celebration. And for once Joshua and I won some races!

 Judah and Mia loved watching the horses and cheering. They especially liked getting Ice cream.

 

On Fathers day we used our pass again and went to North West Trek. Judah again loved the ice cream. How spoiled this week!

 

 At are small group Rae wanted to hold Ember. She still needs a bit more practice. Haha

 Judah continues to learn new things and empress us all the time. he suprises us with words he knows and connections he makes!

Week 24

Happy one month baby girl Ember!

We have been worried about Ember and wondering if she has an allergy because she continues to throw up every other day and is very broken out. However we went to the doctor this week and she said she did not think so. We are going to try and switch her formula and see if that helps.
She is starting to have longer periods of being awake and not crying so I was able to get this sweet picture if my girl before she got mad!

Joshua got Rainier VIP club tickets given to him by a coworker this week so we got to sit right behind home plate and had a waitress to bring us food and drinks. It was such a fun night and Judah loved it and Ember slept all night in our friends arms! Lucky us.

Week 23

It continued to be nice this week. We went on a nice family walk on the trails in out neighborhood. We are trying to get out and teach Judah new things. He surprises us with things he knows all the time. Like the other day I made a star for him out of play doh and he started singing twinkle twinkle. I am guessing that one is from child care. He also has started talking about spider man and dragon everyday. I found out he plays spider man with another boy at child care but we have no idea where the dragon came from but he talks about it all the time. Because of this I decided to make a dragon with him at home. He likes to fly it around yelling "whoosh don't fly away"

This week we also had Judah's dance recital. My friends took pictures and video but I do not have those yet so I will post those later when I get them.  I do have him ready for it and Joshua holding cousin Evie who came to watch.

 We finished the week in Seattle celbrating Willi and Krista's birthday.

Week 22

This week Grandma Barb was finally home from her trip so she got to meet Ember. We met up at the spray park because it was nice out. However Judah did not want to have anything to do with the water. He even cried when I tried to change him out of sweats into shorts because he thought I was going to make him go in.

 Judah got a new Elmo doll given to him this week so he thought it was pretty cool to watch Elmo while holding him. At the end of the week we got to go see Tristan play baseball and celebrate Krista's birthday early. Judah was so excited to watch Tristan play. He sure loves him!

We have been enjoying this nice weather and Judah spends a lot of time outside in his pool and playing with bubbles. Ember is still doing good with sleeping. She only gets up once a night.

week 21

 This week I took Judah to get a hair cut, surprised daddy at work and got to visit with his co-workers. Judah discovered the car cart which is a new world for this mom of two. Why are those so hard to drive?

 

 Joshua got an evening off to go to the opening of the spray park. We almost didn't make it because Ember threw up in her car seat on the way out. I was overwhelmed to change her, clean the car seat, give her more food and still make it there to meet Joshua. But Joshua really wanted to do something fun so I got it done. Ember has been throwing up about every other day which has been a challenging adjustment! Judah had a blast at the park so I am glad we made it.
 

We finished the week at the Memorial day weekend sale for the old canery. I was excited about free food and Judah was excited about looking at the trains and getting a balloon animal. Ember was excited to be snuggled in the Ergo.

Ember is doing pretty great getting out on adventures and sleeping but struggles with being awake and happy. She does not like to be put down. The only spot other the our arms that she is happy is in the swing. We will have to see how long that lasts for this cute little bug. 

(yes this is a Christmas blanket but it is so soft we use it all year)
