Week 25: Happy Easter

This week has been one of the busiest weeks we have had so far. Joshua is still off of work so he got to spend more time with Judah. On Monday they both went and visited Joshua's old worksite to wrap up a few things. Judah dressed like daddy ready for work!

On Friday we hung out with some friends for dinner and games. Judah is usually so good at sleeping anywhere we didn't bother to bring a Pack & Play for him and the poor little guy couldn't sleep and stayed up fidgeting around until 1130pm, although he was enjoying hanging out with everyone playing games. On Saturday we got together with our friends Jen and Jason Paul and went to Elbe to go shooting.

Afterward we went to our friends Shane and Angela's to celebrate their son Samuals 1st birthday.

And we finished the week Celebrating our Saviors Resurrection. Judah got spoiled with gifts from family and a Easter egg hunt at Grandma Barbs.

We finished the day trying to take the grandkids photo without much success. First Judah fell down.

Then Mia got sun in her eyes and started crying.

So we tried just the boys and Judah could not muster any joy. Tristan was such a trooper with his smile ready to go. Guess we will have to wait until next year for the other two.

Week 24: Hanging with Daddy

Joshua found out he is going to have the next 3-4 weeks off before his new job starts so he got to stay home and spend the whole week with Judah. Which is great because he is learning new things all the time! This week he started rolling over regularly, he figured out how to take his pacifier out and put it back in, and is way more responsive to items/toys around around him. He also ate bananas, and prunes for the first time this week.

Judah spent a lot of time hanging out while Joshua continued to redo the floors.

Joshua made Judah earmuffs to block out the noise

Judah is now wiggling and moving a lot more. I found him like this when I got out of the shower. He had almost completely wiggled himself out of his chair and onto the floor.

He also tried to sit in the cart at Local Boys but was not completely able to hold himself up :)

On Sunday we had a date day and went to the Bonsai Gardens

Judah decided that Sophia wanted to help hold up his bottle

After the Bonsai Gardens, Joshua and I went bowling.
Here is some flash backs to our honeymoon bowling trip

We finsiehed the night with Grandpa Rick's Birthday.

Week 23: Poor sick boy

On Sunday Judah started to cough a little and I was thinking here we go again another cold. But then when I got home on Monday his cold had developed into wheezing and labored breathing. I decided to take him to urgent care. This is Judah entertaining himself with his Giraffe cousin Gretchen made for him. We unfortunately were there for three hours so he had a lot of time to play.

We found out that his oxygen level was a little low and he had a virus in his lungs. The doctor gave us a breathing treatment for him and sent us home with a nebulizer to give to him 3-4 times a day. It's a cute little panda.

Tuesday night Judah woke up all night coughing a lot and then Wednesday morning he started coughing and choking. We checked his temp and he had a slight one of 100.7. Joshua stayed home and took him back to the doctor. They tested him and we found out our poor boy has RSV. Which is very common but risky in infant to turn into pneumonia or bronchitis. Luckily Judah does not have a bad case and we just have to monitor him, give him treatments and try and make him comfortable.

Joshua had his last day on the bridge on friday and now is waiting a week or so to see where his company is going to place him next. So we decided to use our tax return to replace our nasty living room carpet with laminate wood. Since Judah was feeling a little better I dressed him up in work clothes too.

For Saint Patricks day Joshua got up and made me green pancakes like my parents used too.

Happy Saint Patricks day!
