Week 55: Halloween

This year Judah and I went to North Star Trick or Trunk. My co-worker said I could help hand out candy at her car if I dress up. So I used my Jesse costume from a few years ago and brought my little chick with me :)

 On Halloween we stayed home and handed out candy. We let Judah try his first candy bar (twix) which lead to random screaming the rest of the night. But he did like putting candy into trick or treaters bags!

Week 54: Game night and pumpkin carving

This week we got together with our friends Evan, Ali, and Adeline Hanson. We carved pumpkins and played games with them. We like getting together with them because they own these great strategy games we have never heard of and its something new each time!

Week 53: Friends

My old roommate Ashley came into town this weekend so we met up with her for a late dinner. Poor Judah was so tired but was happy to snuggle with her.

Week: 52 HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUDAH

 I can not believe a year has already gone by. It seems like such a short time ago I was eating spicy food praying I would go into labor and now we are preparing to start the second year with our precious boy. This week we did a practice cake and smash, went to his cousin Elke's 1st birthday party, went to the pumpkin patch with Kaaryn and the Cooks and had Judah's party.

Week 51: ABC Day

This week we took Judah to the All Bethel Community Day. He had a blast watching performances (particularly the junior cheerleaders.... I think it was the pom pom's) Loved the Seahawks booth, and his favorite was the balloon animals. He flipped when we took that away from him.

Week:50 House projects

So the white paint has continued to be put on items in my house including a total kitchen redo, trim, and white doors. Joshua is spending a lot of time painting.

 Judah looks a little bored of shopping. 

Week 49: Go Hawks

Sometimes when you are eating things get crazy and the next thing you know you have milk in your eye. #babyproblems

How things work at my house.... Conversation while I'm looking at receipts and budgeting.

Allison: Why did you buy a 5 gallon bucket of white paint for only 5 doors

Joshua: Because you paint five doors, then you get more doors, then you want to do the trim, and another project and next thing you know you have gone back and bought 3 one gallon buckets for the same price it was to buy a five gallon bucket. 

Allison: We are not doing the trim forever

Joshua: Yeah but we do want to paint that corner shelf and the kitchen cabinets

Allison: Oh yeah you should do that

Joshua: Today??

And thats how I ended up with a white corner shelf and ALL of the kitchen doors in the garage drying out with new white paint on them.

We finished the week watching the Seahawks. Now that Joshua is done with school we have a little more time on our hands and have been enjoying Sunday family time watching the games.
