Week 7

This week we took a Valentines day trip with the Fores and Hanson's to a cabin on Stevens pass. We had a blast playing in the snow, going for a walk, and playing games all weekend. It was so great for Joshua and I to have a whole weekend together with no one doing any homework.

The one disadvantage to vacation with others is you just kind of assume someone is watching your kid. I was busy pushing Addie down the slide, everyone else was taking pics, spotting, and watching Mia. So when I turned,  I saw Judah had climbed half way up the big toy towards me to get another turn on the slide. Apparently he could not wait his turn for Evan to hand him up. This kid scares me and makes me proud at the same time. That was some serious determination.

Week 6:

This week was kind of an off week. Joshua had to work late several days and then worked Saturday and Sunday too. In addition to that Judah has started having a very rough time sleeping through the night and wants to get up and play. Silly boy. So this weekend when everyone else went out and played in the snow Judah and I layer around because I was beat. During one of our middle of the night play sessions he did learn how to get himself on the couch which he was pretty darn proud of. Not much else to report for this week.

Week 5:

The highlight of this week was the Super Bowl! We got together at my Dad's house and watched the game with family. It was so exciting to be able to watch our home team become Super Bowl champ for the first time!!!! We also were blessed that the cooks came down from Seattle and we were able to celebrate Tristan's birthday with him.
